  • 1 cup Makhana (fox nuts) Adds a light, crunchy texture.
  • 1 cup Cashews Use whole or split for variety.
  • 1/2 cup Raisins Offers natural sweetness; can swap with dried cranberries.
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts Contributes protein and extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Roasted gram dal Adds protein and helps thicken the mixture.
  • 1 cup Sev Provides an extra layer of crunch; can substitute with any crunchy snack mix.
  • 1 cup Boondi Enhances texture beautifully.
Seasoning Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Chivda spice mix Adjust spices according to taste.
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil Used for brushing the air fryer basket.
  • 2 pieces Green chillies For tadka.
  • 2 pieces Red chillies For tadka.
  • 1 cup Curry leaves For tadka.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and brush the basket with cooking oil.
  2. Mix the spice blend and set aside.
  3. Combine cornflakes, makhana, cashews, and raisins in the basket and air fry at 190°C (374°F) for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add peanuts and roasted gram dal; air fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Crisp the sev and boondi in the air fryer for 2 minutes.
  6. Prepare tadka by heating oil and adding green and red chillies, along with curry leaves.
  7. Combine all air-fried ingredients in the pan and sprinkle the spice mix over the top.
  8. Cool the mixture completely before transferring to an airtight container.
