  • 2 slices Thick Bread Sourdough or sandwich bread recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Optional, for greasing
For the Egg
  • 2 large Eggs One per toast
For the Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Choose cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack
Seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Garnish
  • to taste Fresh Parsley or Chives Optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread lightly.
  3. Press a well into the center of each slice.
  4. Crack one egg into the well of each bread slice.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges of the egg.
  6. Place the toast in the air fryer and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
