  • 2 large Large eggs
  • 1 cup Applesauce Natural sweetener
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
For the Mix-ins
  • 2 cups Chopped apples Fresh
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans Optional

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the oats, milk, eggs, applesauce, maple syrup or honey, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, salt, and chopped apples until well blended.
  3. Add your chopped nuts if you're using them. Stir them in gently to distribute evenly throughout the oatmeal mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set and the top is lightly golden brown.
  6. Cool the oatmeal slightly before serving.
