  • ¾ cup Finely Crushed Vanilla Wafer Crumbs Graham cracker crumbs can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon Or use apple pie spice.
Filling
  • 20 oz Canned Apple Pie Filling Sauté sliced apples with brown sugar and lemon juice for fresh twist.
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream Substitute with full-fat coconut milk for dairy-free.
Toppings
  • Whipped Cream Optional, enhances sweetness.
  • Caramel Sauce Optional, can be store-bought or homemade.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush tortillas generously on both sides with melted butter.
  3. Mix finely crushed vanilla wafer crumbs and ground cinnamon in a shallow dish; coat both sides of the tortillas.
  4. Rest the coated tortillas on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
  5. Drape tortillas over oven rack bars or a taco mold, and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Cool the shells for 5 minutes.
Filling
  1. Combine canned apple pie filling and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat; stir until bubbly, about 5 minutes.
  2. Fill the crispy shells with warm apple filling.
  3. Top with whipped cream and drizzle caramel sauce before serving.
