- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Sift the flour and set aside.
- Combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, and apple cider in a mixing bowl using an electric mixer. Mix until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually mix in the salt and sifted flour until the dough starts to come together.
- Form the dough into a ball. Roll it out on a floured surface to about 3/4 inches thick.
- Cut out cookies using a round cookie cutter and transfer them to the prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake for approximately 6 minutes or until just set.
- Cool the cookies on the sheet for 1 minute before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and apple cider until smooth.
