Method
 

How to Make Same Day Focaccia
  1. Combine warm water, active dry yeast, and sugar in a bowl; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour and salt together. Pour in the yeast mixture along with olive oil; stir until you have a sticky dough.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm area until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Transfer the risen dough onto an oiled baking sheet. Stretch it into about a 1-inch thickness and create dimples using your fingertips.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the dough and sprinkle with sea salt and fresh herbs.
  6. Allow the dough to rest for 20 minutes while preheating your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and the bread is crispy.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting. Serve warm.
