  • 4 pieces Croissants store-bought for convenience
For the Filling
  • 8 slices Ham can be substituted with turkey or chicken
  • 8 slices Cheese options like provolone or mozzarella
For the Flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard can substitute with yellow mustard or mayo
  • 1 piece Egg optional for a golden crust

Method
 

How to Make Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each croissant in half lengthwise. Spread a layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of the bottom half. Layer with slices of ham and cheese, then place the top half back on.
  3. If using an egg for a golden finish, beat it and brush it over the top of each croissant.
  4. Arrange the filled croissants on the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes.
  5. Allow the croissants to cool slightly before serving.
