  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, chicken broth, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil until well blended.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over the top.
  5. Bake the chicken for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add this to the baking dish in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve the chicken hot, garnished with fresh pineapple slices, green onions, and sesame seeds.
