How to Make Best Chicken Tacos
- Warm a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add in your ½ pound of shredded cooked chicken along with 1 ounce of taco seasoning. Stir well and heat until everything is warmed through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in ½ cup diced onion, 14.5 ounces of diced tomatoes, and 4.5 ounces of diced green chiles. Cook for an additional few minutes until everything is well combined and fragrant.
- Warm the hard taco shells as per package instructions, usually in the oven for about 5-10 minutes until crispy.
- Open each taco shell and spread about an ounce of refried beans inside.
- Generously fill each taco shell with the chicken mixture.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded Mexican blend cheese on top of each filled taco and let it melt.
- Customize with your favorite toppings, like sour cream, guacamole, or fresh cilantro, for added freshness and flavor.
