  • 2 cups Ripe bananas about 3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup Salted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar 150g
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour 212g
For Mix-ins
  • 1 cup Chopped walnuts or chocolate chips optional mix-ins
  • Extra toppings optional, sprinkle on top

Method
 

How to Make Best Easy Banana Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth with a few lumps.
  3. Mix in the melted butter with the mashed bananas.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle baking soda and baking powder over the mixture and stir gently.
  6. Add ground cinnamon and salt, then stir to combine.
  7. Gradually incorporate the all-purpose flour into the batter.
  8. Fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle extra topping if desired.
  10. Bake for approximately 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool the banana bread in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
