  • 10-12 pieces Jalapeños halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 6-8 ounces Brie Cheese cut into small cubes
  • 1/3 cup Blueberry Preserves
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Walnuts or Pecans (optional) finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest (optional)
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • Fresh Thyme or Parsley (optional) for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the halved jalapeños on a baking sheet with the cut sides facing up.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with a cube of brie cheese.
  4. Top the brie with a small amount of blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries.
  5. Drizzle honey over the filled jalapeños.
  6. Sprinkle finely chopped walnuts or pecans over each popper, if using.
  7. Add a pinch of lemon zest and sea salt where desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley, if using.
