  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened, use low-fat for lighter option
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping or homemade whipped cream
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 medium Apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp varieties
  • 2 tbsp Crushed Pecans optional
For Serving
  • Graham Crackers or pretzels or sliced apples

Method
 

Directions
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Incorporate powdered sugar and continue mixing until well combined and fluffy.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture in a shallow serving dish, then pour the caramel sauce over the top.
  5. Sprinkle diced apples and crushed pecans (if using) over the caramel. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
