How to Make
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gently fold in the grated cheddar cheese and finely chopped jalapeños.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour and salt until just combined.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about ½-inch thick. Cut into shapes and place on a lined baking sheet.
- If using, sprinkle sesame seeds or chili flakes on top before baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
