  • 1 cup Peanut Powder Replace with black sesame powder for variation
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Peanuts Optional but highly recommended

For Cooking
  • 1 tbsp Neutral Vegetable Oil Canola or grapeseed oil recommended

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the coating by combining peanut powder, crushed peanuts, and additional sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together glutinous rice flour, water, salt, and white caster sugar until smooth.
Cooking Methods
  1. Choose one cooking method: steam for 15-20 minutes, microwave in 2-minute intervals, cook in a rice cooker for about 9 minutes, air fry at 180°C for 10 minutes, or fry in a non-stick pan for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Once cooked, let the dough cool slightly, then fold to achieve a bouncy texture.
Coating and Serving
  1. Coat pieces of dough with the peanut or sesame mixture and serve immediately for best taste.
