  • 1 tsp Sea salt

How to Make Churro Saltine Toffee
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Melt the butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until it boils.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture quickly over the crackers, spreading it evenly. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee immediately after baking.
  6. Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt over the top.
  8. Cool the toffee completely before breaking it into pieces.
