How to Make Churro Saltine Toffee
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt the butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until it boils.
- Pour the toffee mixture quickly over the crackers, spreading it evenly. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee immediately after baking.
- Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
- Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt over the top.
- Cool the toffee completely before breaking it into pieces.
