Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together 1/3 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon in a small bowl for the swirl.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth using a fork. Add the melted butter and stir together until combined.
  4. Combine the baking soda and a pinch of salt into the banana mix. Follow with sugar, the beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to your wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Layer half of the banana bread batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over this layer.
  7. Top with the remaining batter, and finish with the rest of the cinnamon sugar blend.
  8. Swirl the cinnamon sugar through the batter gently using a knife or skewer.
  9. Bake in your preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
