How to Make Pork Chop Casserole with Rice
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
  2. Season 1 lb of boneless pork chops with salt, pepper, and any other preferred spices.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the pork chops for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown, then set aside.
  4. Whisk together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and milk in the casserole dish until smooth.
  5. Stir in the uncooked rice, shredded cheese, diced onions, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Nestle the seared pork chops on top of the rice mixture, pressing them down gently.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until the rice is tender and the pork is cooked through (aim for an internal temperature of 145°F).
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
