How to Make Pork Chop Casserole with Rice
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
- Season 1 lb of boneless pork chops with salt, pepper, and any other preferred spices.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the pork chops for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown, then set aside.
- Whisk together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and milk in the casserole dish until smooth.
- Stir in the uncooked rice, shredded cheese, diced onions, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Nestle the seared pork chops on top of the rice mixture, pressing them down gently.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until the rice is tender and the pork is cooked through (aim for an internal temperature of 145°F).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
