Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sauté the beef breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- Drain excess grease and set aside. Cook the bacon until crispy.
- Prepare the hash browns by thawing and draining them, squeezing out excess moisture.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Layer the hash browns in the greased baking dish, pressing them down firmly.
- Top with the cooked sausage and crispy bacon.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the meat mixture and pour the egg mixture on top.
- Finish by adding the remaining cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 25-35 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting, garnish as desired.

Notes
Ensure to thoroughly drain and squeeze out moisture from the hash browns to prevent a soggy casserole texture. Prepping the casserole the night before can save time; just pop it in the oven in the morning.
