Ingredients

Burger Patties
  • 1 lb Ground Chuck or ground beef/turkey as alternatives
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix can substitute with any dry seasoning mix
  • 6 slices Bacon or use turkey bacon for a leaner option
  • 6 slices Cheddar Cheese swap with Swiss, pepper jack, or preferred cheese
Assembly
  • 6 buns Burger Buns whole wheat or gluten-free for healthier options
  • Optional Toppings lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, customized condiments

Equipment

  • skillet
  • grill

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, ranch dressing mix, and chopped bacon. Mix gently until just combined to keep the patties tender.
  2. Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized burger patties, making a slight indent in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.
  3. Preheat a skillet or outdoor grill over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 6 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese atop each patty. Close the lid to help it melt perfectly.
  5. Once cooked, place each patty on a burger bun. Add your chosen toppings and condiments for a tasty, personalized touch.
