Method
 

Basic Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the egg noodles until they are just al dente, about 6-7 minutes. Drain the noodles and set them aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  4. Gently fold the cooked noodles into the sauce mixture along with the shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the bacon.
  5. Pour the mixture into your greased baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top it off with the remaining cheddar cheese and the rest of the bacon.
  6. Cover your dish with foil and bake it in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  7. Let your casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving. If desired, sprinkle green onions on top for a fresh garnish.
