Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Mix together 2 cups of uncooked Minute rice, both cans of cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups, and one can of water in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Spread the rice mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 1 to 1½ hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the rice is tender.
- Serve it up! Optionally cut the chicken into pieces and mix it into the rice prior to serving.
