How to Make Ground Beef Orzo
- In a large pot, heat over medium-high heat about 5-6 minutes. Cook the ground beef until it’s well browned, breaking it apart for even cooking.
- Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes until softened and translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic along with optional crushed red pepper flakes and the uncooked orzo. Cook for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat, stir in parmesan cheese and packed spinach, and cover for 3-5 minutes to let everything meld together.
