For the Taquitos
  • 8 small Tortillas Corn or flour depending on your preference; warm before rolling.
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese Choose a melting cheese like Monterey Jack or Cheddar.

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, cook ground beef and finely chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned (5–7 minutes). Add minced garlic and spices (chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper) and cook until fragrant. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave for easy rolling.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of beef mixture onto each tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and roll tightly, tucking in the sides to secure the filling inside.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place taquitos seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with oil, and sprinkle with extra cheese. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Broil for an extra crunch if desired!
