Preparation
- Begin by slicing the chicken breast thinly for quick cooking. Finely chop the garlic and onion.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until the chicken is fully cooked through.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in the cheese mix until it melts into the warm filling. Allow it to cool.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a clean surface. Cut it into rectangles and spoon filling onto one end of each.
- Fold and seal the edges of the pastry. Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with black cumin.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or your favorite herbs, and serve hot.
