How to Make Fried Chicken
- In a shallow dish, combine the batter ingredients (flour, garlic salt, paprika, pepper, and poultry seasoning).
- In another dish, beat the eggs with water and stir in flour and remaining pepper until smooth.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Heat the oil to 375°F in an electric skillet or deep fryer.
- Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil and fry for 7-8 minutes per side.
- Drain the fried chicken on paper towels and keep warm in a low oven at 250°F.
