Method
 

How to Make Fried Chicken
  1. In a shallow dish, combine the batter ingredients (flour, garlic salt, paprika, pepper, and poultry seasoning).
  2. In another dish, beat the eggs with water and stir in flour and remaining pepper until smooth.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat the oil to 375°F in an electric skillet or deep fryer.
  5. Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil and fry for 7-8 minutes per side.
  6. Drain the fried chicken on paper towels and keep warm in a low oven at 250°F.
