Preparation Steps
- Defrost, shell, and devein the shrimp.
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with the egg white, salt, sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, oil, and white pepper powder. Mix well.
- Take a portion of the shrimp mixture and place it on each spring roll wrapper.
- Carefully roll the wrapper around the shrimp mixture, making sure it’s tight and secure.
- Seal the edges of the wrapper by adding a touch of water with your fingers.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat, then add the rolls. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
