Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 pound Extra Lean Ground Beef can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken
  • 2 cups Frozen Steamed Jasmine Rice swap in your favorite rice or grains
For the Vegetables
  • 2 cups Baby Broccoli or regular broccoli florets
  • 1 medium White Onion any onion variety can work
  • 2 stalks Green Onions for garnish, can be replaced with chives
For the Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil any cooking oil can serve as a substitute
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Hoisin Sauce substitute with coconut aminos mixed with sweetener if unavailable
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Aminos regular soy sauce can be substituted
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar any vinegar will work
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha swap with your preferred chili sauce to adjust heat

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 2 cups of halved baby broccoli and 1 diced white onion to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté for 5-6 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, introduce 1 pound of extra lean ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Mix hoisin sauce, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, sriracha, and 1-2 tablespoons of water in a bowl, then pour over the beef.
  5. Bring the sautéed vegetables back into the skillet, tossing with the beef mixture.
  6. Serve the mixture over 2 cups of microwaved frozen steamed jasmine rice, garnishing with sliced green onions.
