How to Make Crock Pot Beef Stew
  1. Combine dry onion soup mix and paprika in a bag. Add beef stew meat and shake well until coated.
  2. Layer the coated beef evenly in a greased 7-quart crock pot.
  3. Layer potatoes, baby carrots, and yellow onion over the beef.
  4. Blend cream of celery soup and ketchup in a bowl, then pour over meat and vegetables.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours until meat is tender.
