How to Make Crock Pot Cabbage, Sausage & Potatoes
  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Start by chopping your 2-lb cabbage into bite-sized pieces, slicing the smoked sausage, and washing the mini potatoes to ensure they're clean and ready to cook.
  2. Layer the Cabbage: In your crock pot, place the chopped cabbage at the bottom. This will create a tender base that soaks up all those delicious flavors.
  3. Add the Sausage and Potatoes: Next, pile the sliced sausage on top of the cabbage, followed by a generous layer of mini potatoes.
  4. Sprinkle the Cajun Seasoning: Evenly sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the top of the layers.
  5. Avoid Adding Liquid: Resist the temptation to add any liquid! The cabbage will render enough moisture as it cooks.
  6. Cook on Low: Set your crock pot to low and let it simmer for 4 hours until fork-tender.
  7. Serve & Enjoy: Once cooked, serve the dish warm and enjoy the comforting flavors.
