Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the Crock Pot. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken.
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for about 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Once the chicken is ready, shred it directly in the Crock Pot using two forks. Stir in the cooked pasta.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until it melts.
