Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the Crock Pot. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for about 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the chicken is ready, shred it directly in the Crock Pot using two forks. Stir in the cooked pasta.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until it melts.
