  • 1/4 cup Pistachios (slivered) Use roasted for depth of flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Pistachio Powder

Steps to Create
  1. Blend short grain rice with whole milk until smooth to ensure creamy texture for the phirni.
  2. Bring the remaining milk to a gentle simmer, then stir in the rice paste and cook until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add sugar, custard apple pulp, and cardamom powder to the pan, mixing well until fully combined.
  4. Transfer the phirni to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors and thicken.
  5. Press motichoor ladoos into a mold to form cup shapes, ensuring they hold securely.
  6. Pipe the chilled phirni into the ladoo cups, filling generously to create layers.
  7. Garnish with pistachio powder, pomegranate seeds, slivered pistachios, and optional gold foil.
