- Tear the large croissants into bite-sized pieces and evenly distribute them in the dish. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the croissant layers.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole milk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissant pieces. Gently press down on the croissants with a fork.
- If time allows, let the dish sit for 10-15 minutes to maximize absorption.
