Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Unroll one tube of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing well.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the dough base and spread evenly.
- Open the second tube of crescent dough and place it over the filling, pinching seams to seal.
- Melt the butter and brush it on top of the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and filling is set with a slight jiggle. Cool for 1 hour before slicing.
