  • 8 oz Dark Chocolate Opt for a higher cocoa percentage for richness.
  • 2 tbsp Coffee Granules Espresso powder enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Dairy-free option: coconut cream.
For the Coating
  • 4 oz Milk Chocolate Melted for dipping.

Method
 

How to Make Coffee Truffles
  1. Line a small flat dish with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Gently warm the heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat until just below boiling.
  3. Stir in the finely chopped dark chocolate and coffee granules until melted and smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
  5. Once firm, scoop and roll into 1-inch balls, then chill again for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water and let cool for about 15 minutes.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
  8. Place dipped truffles on a lined tray and chill until set.
