  • 1 cup Brown Sugar or maple syrup for a twist
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon Sticks or ground cinnamon if needed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract optional
Latte
  • 2 shots Decaffeinated Espresso use quality decaf
  • 2 cups Milk whole, 2%, or oat for best texture
  • 3 tablespoons Cinnamon Syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream optional, non-dairy alternative allowed
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon optional for garnish

Method
 

Cinnamon Syrup Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar dissolves. Cover and let steep for 1-4 hours, then strain and add vanilla.
Making the Latte
  1. Gently steam or microwave milk until hot but not boiling, aiming for around 150°F.
  2. Mix in the cinnamon syrup to the heated milk and froth until thick and bubbly.
  3. Pour the freshly brewed decaffeinated espresso into a mug and top with frothy cinnamon-infused milk.
  4. Crown with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Optionally, drizzle more cinnamon syrup on top.
