How to Make Meghli Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time to the creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and optional nuts gently.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown, centers remain soft.
- Cool cookies on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
