Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and jam, stirring until well blended. Spread this mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and melted butter. Stir in the egg until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the jam layer in the baking dish. Do not mix.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
