Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Creamy or other nut butters as alternatives.
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats Quick oats may alter texture.
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup Honey or agave are great substitutes.
  • 1/2 cup Protein Powder Optional for nutritional boost; ground flax can be used.
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips Opt for dark chocolate to keep vegan.
  • to taste Flakey Sea Salt Sprinkle just before serving.

Method
 

Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth.
  2. Add old fashioned rolled oats to the bowl and mix until fully combined.
  3. Spoon the mixture into silicone molds, pressing down firmly.
  4. Add a dollop of peanut butter on top of each oat cup.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate with a splash of oil.
  6. Remove the cups from the freezer and drizzle the melted chocolate on top.
  7. Gently remove the cups from the molds after setting.
