How to Make Taco Soup
  1. In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Cook until it becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Incorporate the minced garlic and diced jalapeno into the pot. Stir and let them cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the ground meat to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned, around 5-7 minutes.
