  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can use ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • 3 medium Green Peppers Can substitute with red or yellow peppers.
For the Flavor
  • 1 medium Chopped Onion Shallots can be used as an alternative.
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Canned diced tomatoes can be used instead.
  • 1 tbsp Salt-Free Seasoning Blend Italian seasoning can be a substitute.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded Italian Cheese Blend Mozzarella can be used for a classic choice.
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if necessary.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Cook the instant rice according to package instructions (5-10 minutes).
  2. In a large ovenproof skillet, sauté the ground beef over medium-high heat. Add chopped green peppers and onions, cooking until the beef is browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess liquid.
  3. Turn down the heat to medium, stir in the prepared rice and marinara sauce until well combined. Fold in the shredded cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the seasoned breadcrumbs with olive oil. Sprinkle this over the beef mixture in the skillet.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the breadcrumb topping is golden brown.
