Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it lightly or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat until they soften, about 3-4 minutes. Let them cool slightly before adding them to the mixture.
  3. Combine in a large mixing bowl: ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, sautéed onion and garlic, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined to keep your meatloaf tender.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf with your hands and place it in the prepared loaf pan or on the lined baking sheet.
  5. Mix the glaze ingredients: ketchup, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Spread this glaze evenly over the top of your meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The outside should be golden brown and the glaze nicely caramelized.
  7. Rest the meatloaf for 10 minutes after baking. This step is essential to let the juices redistribute, ensuring every slice is moist and flavorful.
