How to Make Baked Blueberry Donuts
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your donut pan by greasing it lightly.
- Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and eggs until fully combined.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually stir into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the blueberries gently, being careful not to break them.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan about ¾ full, then bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Prepare the blueberry glaze by whisking the powdered sugar, blueberry puree, and lemon juice together.
- Glaze the cooled donuts by dipping or drizzling the glaze.
