Method

How to Make Chocolate Easter Bird's Nest Cookies
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Microwave at half power for 1 minute, then stir. Continue heating until melted and smooth.
  2. Add chow mein noodles to the melted mixture and gently stir until all the noodles are fully coated with the chocolate-peanut butter blend.
  3. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Use a spoon to scoop about 1/4 cup of the mixture onto the sheets, shaping it into nest-like forms with a slight indentation.
  4. While the mixture is still wet, place 3 mini eggs in the center of each nest.
  5. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until the cookies are set and firm to the touch.
  6. Once set, serve your delightful cookies immediately. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
