Method

How to Make Summer Berry Trifle
  1. Microwave the seedless raspberry jam until warm and easily spreadable. Toss with sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Allow them to sit for a bit to soften and glaze the berries.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with confectioners' sugar until smooth. Mix in vanilla and gently fold in the whipped cream.
  4. Start layering in a trifle dish: layer ladyfingers, one third of berry mixture, one third of cream cheese filling. Repeat layers, finishing with cream on top. Cover and chill for at least 8 hours.
  5. Before serving, garnish with fresh berries and a sprig of mint. Optional: drizzle a bit of honey for added sweetness.
