How to Make Fluffy Strawberry Mousse
- Clean and slice 2 cups of fresh strawberries. Blend them with 1/4 cup of sugar until smooth to create a vibrant puree.
- Set aside 1/2 cup of the strawberry puree for layering later.
- In a chilled bowl, whip 1 cup of cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the remaining strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
- Spoon the reserved strawberry puree into serving glasses, then top with the mousse mixture.
- Refrigerate the mousse for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Finish with fresh strawberries on top before serving.
