- Beat softened butter on medium speed for about 2 minutes until it's light and fluffy.
- Add in the sweetened condensed milk and continue to beat for another minute until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the creamed butter mixture until just combined.
- Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to firm it up.
- Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1cm thick.
- Preheat your oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake your cookies for 5-8 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
- Optional: Drizzle melted chocolate on top for an extra touch of indulgence.
