  • 3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced.

  • 14.5 ounces Diced Tomatoes Opt for a thick brand like Hunt's.
  • 1 cup Beef Stock Chicken stock is a great alternative.
  • 1 cup Rice Any long-grain white rice like jasmine or basmati.
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce Can omit for gluten-free option.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Freshly shredded for optimal melting.
  • 1.5 tablespoons Parsley Fresh garnish.

Steps
  1. Prepare Ingredients: Dice the onion and bell pepper into 1/2-inch pieces, and mince the garlic.
  2. Heat Oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and warm for a minute.
  3. Brown Beef: Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Sauté Vegetables: Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Mix in Condiments: Stir in tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
  6. Add Remaining Ingredients: Pour in diced tomatoes, beef stock, and rice. Stir together.
  7. Simmer: Bring to boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Melt Cheese: Remove from heat, sprinkle cheese on top, and cover for 2 minutes.
  9. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle parsley over cheese and serve warm.
