Baking Instructions
  1. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, blend melted butter with light brown and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add in the large egg and vanilla extract.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: Gently add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda into the wet mixture. Mix on low speed until just combined.
  3. Fold In Add-ons: With a spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
  4. Pre-scoop Dough: Portion dough into 2-tablespoon balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  5. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the chilled dough balls and bake for 11-13 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  6. Add Candy Eyes: Press candy eyes into each cookie while warm and cool completely before serving.
