Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9x6 or 9x11 deep baking dish by lightly coating it with cooking spray.
  3. Tear the croissants in half and arrange them in the prepared dish.
  4. Cut the ham into thirds and nestle the pieces around the croissants.
  5. Whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, Dijon mustard, and salt in a bowl until combined. Pour this mixture over the croissants.
  6. Cover the casserole with foil and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Bake the casserole covered for 20 minutes; then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes after baking and garnish with powdered sugar before serving.
