How to Make Kielbasa Potato Soup
  1. Prepare Ingredients: Start by slicing the kielbasa, dicing the onion, mincing the garlic, chopping the carrots and dill, and cutting the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat Oil: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and allow it to brown for about 5 minutes.
  3. Sauté Veggies: Using the same pot, add the diced onion, minced garlic, and chopped carrots. Sauté these for about 3 minutes until they soften.
  4. Add Potatoes and Beans: Stir in the waxy potatoes, cannellini beans, sweet paprika, and dried marjoram.
  5. Pour Broth: Carefully pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  6. Incorporate Cream Cheese: Remove the lid and stir in the cream cheese until it melts. Return the browned kielbasa to the pot.
  7. Season and Serve: Taste the soup and adjust seasoning. Serve warm.
